Admission to the Music Fest first-come, first-served. The goal of the festival is to bring quality entertainment to Kansas City. If there is a certain band that you want to see be sure to get there early. Your pass only gains you access to the venues and does not guarantee the ability to see every show. Each venue is limited to the capacity. We will not oversell the availability of the venues so there should always be something that you should have access to.
Re-entry procedure. You can exit and re-enter the venues with wristband, however if venue is at capacity re-entry is not possible.
Are Cameras Allowed?
For the convenience of festival goers, cameras are not allowed with the exception of cell phone devices. Cameras are allowed for credentialed media with media passes
Are refunds rain checks or exchanges available?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds, rain checks or exchanges.
Can I leave and re-enter the venues
Festival Guests may exit and re-enter if venue is not at capacity.
Can I purchase tickets at each Venue
- Music Fest Tickets may be purchased at CrossroadsKC and Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland
- Film Fest Tickets may be purchased at Alamo Drafthouse during Film Fest Dates (April 28 – May 1)
- Speaker tickets may be purchased at each venue day of event
Do I need Cash?
Most purchases can be made with cash or credit. ATMS are available in select venues for your convenience

Yes, you must keep your wristband on for the entire fest

Yes, all venues are wheelchair accessible.
What happens if it rains?
Middle of the Map Fest will be presented rain or shine. Performances may be postponed or cancelled if weather conditions are deemed unsafe. Performers and performance times are subject to change without notice.
What is the Age Policy
- The Madrid Theatre, Uptown Theater and CrossroadsKC, Mills Record Company and Josey Records are all age venues
- Californos & recordBar are 18+ Venues
- All other Music Fest Venues are 21 and over and require photo ID
